Carbon dioxide removal (CDR) refers to technologies and processes that remove CO₂ from the atmosphere and store it durably in geological formations, stable materials, or long-lived products.
Under the Puro Standard, carbon removal projects are certified using rigorous methodologies and verified by independent third-party auditors. This ensures that every CO₂ Removal Certificate (CORC) represents one tonne of removed carbon.
